Podnikatelské centrum Rumburk, VTP, s.r.o. operates the Science and Technology Park in Rumburk (http://www.pc-vtp-rumburk.cz), which was built in 2006–2009 at a cost of CZK 150 million using EU funds (the PROSPERITA programme). The Science and Technology Park in Rumburk focuses on optics, the development of new materials and nanotechnology.
Another project, the Dental Development Centre, is being registered. It focuses on innovative production of dental prostheses with CAD/CAM technology, the use of nanotechnology for surface treatment of dental implants, research into the use of lasers and ozone in dental practice, and ICT applications.
The aim is to invest in projects (by purchasing technology and know-how or through a joint venture) with a demonstrable return within about 7 years and for which a relevant market exists.
If any member of the cluster is interested in cooperating with the Science and Technology Park in Rumburk, we will be happy to put you in touch.
